2012 C-Class Coupe Design Leaked!

Mercedes-Benz has been in need of a legitimate C-Class coupe since the introduction of the model line nearly two decades ago.  Mercedes promised enthusiasts a new-for-2012 coupe based on the updated bodywork of it's best selling C sedan.  AutoGuide has snapped up some images that show the undisguised car in all it's mercurial glory, and by the looks of the beast, the finished product is even better than the expectations.  The newly shaped headlamps are elegant and sweep up slightly more than previous C's in line with the updated brand image.  The rear end has CL undertones coupled with a BMW-like dogleg in the C-pillar,  but still distinctive enough to offer the car a clear identity.

Mercedes design of late has been stellar, unleashing one elegant tourer after another, evidenced by the newly redesigned C, E, and the unreleased SLK.  Even the flagship drop-top, the ultra luxurious SL, receives a complete makeover soon.
