Stepping indoors, we were far from disappointed to view more cars, but most of all, vintage collectables of nearly every kind imaginable. There were Coca-Cola machines and cases and enough pieces to recreate several small '50's diners. There were antique custom lighting, statues, pinball machines, furniture, vintage go karts and pedal cars, and neon signage galore. There were 19th century gambling tables and paraphernalia, equestrian goods, wheel chairs, statues, paintings, giant metal cash registers and toys for the children to play. Everything was vintage or antique, unique and rare. Two floors filled with rich and precious history well preserved and in readiness to be sold to a collector or enthusiast for preservation or novelty. "Back In The Day" is in the business of buying and selling rare, unusual, collectable, classic and vintage items of nearly every sort.
Their two story store room is strategically set up like a museum and the public is encouraged to explore every inch of the property and observe and enjoy their extensive collection. They wish to show off and sell everything they have on site, so go ahead and venture in and have a blast looking at the past. There's no harm in just taking the entire family for a walk through time. Again, they encourage it! So, if you so happen to be in Carson, stop by for a spell and drool over their impressive inventory. I know for a fact that I am going back for more. I was advised they get new items in frequently.. At any rate, enjoy!
