Iron Chef Battle Secret Ingredient: Moonshine!

So this isn't quite car related, but I have been trying to figure out the new show on Discovery Channel called Moonshiners. From what I can gather, actor Jeremy Renner (Hurt Locker) is chased around the Virginia backwoods by celebrity chef Mario Batali, apparently for stealing his best cooking wine. The season ended with Renner escaping the roomy Italian's clutches and flying back to Hollywood in a private jet full of his agents and managers. I hope next season makes more sense.
